Breeding purebred dogs is not for beginners, because it’s a great responsibility to produce, raise and train puppies. It’s impossible to get back the investment by producing puppies for sale, because stud fee, vet care, feeding and so forth is very expensive. Hobby breeders usually don’t screen the breeding stock for health problems and produce mediocre dogs that are susceptible to hereditary disorders, have behavior problems and are difficult to live with. Such dogs are usually surrendered by their owners to volunteer organizations. Spaying or neutering is recommended for all dogs, unless they are of a breeding quality.

Every applicant is carefully screened and if you are not ready to own a dog, you will be refused. Special attention is usually paid to the household conditions and fencing.
